SEC reinstall over to change db un and pw failing.

I am trying to reinstall the enterprise console over again to change the user and password used for the db. For some reason the install constantly fails. Any ideas?

  • I'm baffled if the account is staying the same, i.e. Administrator, the only difference being you're using an obfuscated form of the password.

    If you change it back to the clear text it works again, so it's not like the account is the problem, i.e. locked, etc..

    If you set the password to the Administrator account to "password" and use the string I generated that should work.

    You might have to call Support I'm afraid.
