SOPHOS47_log.ldf

Can some please advise if we need to keep this file.

Currently taking up 2gb storage on a drive and i need more space.

We have upgraded to SEC 5.1 and the above mention file hace not been modified sine October 2012.

If its not need can i delete it or is there a procedure in removing the Log files?

Hello Burniebrae,
it's the SEC 4.7 databases log, you probably no longer need it. Please see Dropping previous databases used by Enterprise Console. BTW, 2GB is rather large unless you have quite a number (many thousands) of clients and/or alerts, I suggest you have a look at the sizes of the 5.1 datasets and if the .ldf is significantly larger than the .mdf check the recovery model (see 5. in Sophos SQL Best Practice Guide for Endpoint products).
