Cannot access Device Control

My company uses Sophos. Earlier if I ever had to connect a USB device to my laptop, I would just goto Configure->Device Control and uncheck the check-box.

But after I sent my laptop to the IT team for some updates, I am unable to this since it doesn't show up and is greyed out. This can be seen in the image below.

Please can someone help me enable this.

    Hello 123livinfree123,

    first of all, you should discuss this with your IT team :smileywink:

    The screenshot suggests you are no longer a SophosAdministrator - i.e. your user doesn't belong to the local SophosAdministrator group. To verify this click on the View product information link on the left. The next screen (takes some time till it opens) will show your Current user rights. 

    If you have local admin rights on the machine you can add yourself to the necessary group. If you don't have admin rights and had them before you'd have to ask your IT team why.
