cannot determine current virus definition date

We recently switched to Sophos and I am trying to figure out how I can tell on the client side of my machines if they have the most current definition date. Here is what the product information page says

When I view the client on the manager, it says that it is up to date, but how can 2 month old virus definitions be current? Am I missing something simple, or do we have a problem?
