We have Sophos Puremessage for which we recieve emails, we often get the following:
"A virus outbreak has been detected by PureMessage.
If configured to do so, PureMessage will now disable virus alerts until the rate of virus detection drops to a manageable level. This is to prevent an overload of email traffic."
Could anybody let me know what this actually means? I was thinking if this due to a threshold that may have been exceeded?
