code a025002f too many items detected

in one of my managed computers, i'm getting "code a025002f... too many items detected" and the only option provided in the management console is either to "Clear All" or "Acknowledge".

how do you handle this error?

  • Hello Rino,

Clear all just removes the tickmarks from the checkboxes, it neither works on the item(s) nor on the alert(s). As this is an error (as opposed to an alert) the only option is to acknowledge it. It just tells you that the scanner decided that the item is definitely malicious and, although it hasn't completed all the checks it usually does, there's no point in further scanning (so some "interesting" threat might have been missed).

Normally there's also at least one detection associated with this item and you should deal with it accordingly.
