web protection is no longer functional

i have a Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, fresh installation. upon completing installation of Sophos endpoint, after a few days i get the message

"Web Protection is no longer functional. The filtering driver has been bypassed [0xa058000c]"

i'm using only the default policy that came with the management console.

Hello rino19ny,
please see Enterprise Console reports error a058000c, which lists some potential causes. Can't say what the actual cause could be as I haven't seen it in any of our 2k8 R2s.
