how to allow smartphones

my USB policies only allow storage and printer to be open. this works fine for ordinary USB keys or drives. but when smartphones are plugged in, they are registered as USB modems and are  therefore blocked.

how can i allow smartphones to be used so that we can download photos from them?

    Hello Rino,

    are you talking about Endpoint/SEC and Device Control? If so, DevCtrl is port-agnostic meaning there is no reference USB, just different device types. The log should tell you the type Sophos detected when it blocks the device (could be MTP/PTP).
