what is correct way to deploy

i'm thinking if there is a better way to deploy Sophos. at the moment, what i do is import my AD tree structure into a group (keeping the same structure), and from that group i select computer/s to protect.

whenever there are new computers in the domain, i update my group structure and download or sync the respective AD structure.

the above works for me. are there better ways?

also, why is it that i have to enter the domain admin account every time i do "Protect Computer" deployment? can't the account be saved?

Hello Rino,
there is no correct way - it depends.
From your description I'd say AD Synchronization might be worth to be looked at by you. Optionally you can request automatic protection (which also would save you from re-entering the credentials) - but be aware that protection is tried only one for a given endpoint.
Other options are deployment via scripts or SMS/SCCM, the articles are linked from Deployment scenarios: Methods of remotely installing Sophos endpoint software.
