how to excempt endpoint folders

i'm getting error code a025002f saying too many items detected in a folder. when i checked, it was the Endpoints own temp folder! it's in c:\programdata\sophos\temp...

how to tell the Endpoint not to scan itself?

Hello Rino, c:\programdata\sophos	emp guess it's c:\programdata\sophos\ Sophos Anti-Virus 	emp. The scanner extracts larger archives to this location, the files should be temporary and have a .$$$ extension, maybe there are some leftovers (because a scan has been terminated). You should not exclude this folder, instead (permanently) delete its contents manually. Christian :52074
