Keyboard no longer works after encryping a Lenovo S100

I have a Lenovo S100 with a non working keyboard after encryption. I can plug in an external USB keyboard and that works fine. I've searched the forums with little success. I understand that it's being blocked at some point, but I'm not sure how to get past this.

I've since installed SP3 and ran all the updates but there is no change. The keyboard will work for a few seconds after reboot and then stop. I assume it works until all services are up and running.
