SEM 4.7 and TMG/ISA Clients

Question

Hi, we just purchased SEM and I have begun testing for rollout.

It seems that the TMG and ISA firewall clients on my workstations is incompatible.

They are giving back a Web Protection Error in the Sophos console.

Is there a way to get sophos to ignore the firewall clients? As I do need them to be on the workstations and functioning....

We already have web filtering at the server level, so I dont need any web protection at the AV level.....

Hello Dekkar,

please see Possible interactions between third-party products and the Web Protection feature in Endpoint Security and Control v. 9.5 and v.9.7 and Possible interactions between third-party products and the Web Protection feature in Endpoint Protection v. 10.0.

Try turning off Web protection in the A-V policy (see item 8. in chapter 4.2 in the Policy Setup Guide or chapter 7.1.6.2 in the SEM Help), this should disable the LSP and avoid the conflict.
