End Point Update fails

Computer that Sophos is running on is unable to update. MS Server 2003R2 with Windows firewall disabled and computer is behing a pfSense firewall. No unusual restrictions, have tried deleting cache files to no avail, do we need to open specific ports for update to work? Have reinstalled Sophos and it makes no difference, any suggestions?

  • Hello 60600009,

the computer (is this the Server 2003?) has Sophos configured as the Primary update location. Is this intended? As it seems to be able to download AutoUpdate it doesn't look like a credentials problem. The ALUpdate log (in ...\Sophos\AutoUpdate\logs) should contain a more specific error message.
