SEC 4.5 Cannot Update

3 Month ago we've installed SEC 4.5 on Windows Server 2008 x64 which is our domain controller.

Everything was working fine for 3 months but now SEC cannot update.

It's status is:

80040404 Threat detection data update failed. 
80040406 Delivery failed for software subscription 'Recommended'. Access to the source update location is denied or the location is otherwise unavailable.

I was digging around the net for help but everything I tried was useless.

please..please help.

    I was digging around the net

    apart from the knowledgebase this forum is IMO the only source you need :smileywink:. Seriously - SUM errors have been discussed here to quite some extent.

    Please use the logviewer.exe from the SUM program directory - the error descriptions might already give a hint. If this is not sufficient have a look at the SUMTrace logs in %PROGRAMDATA%\Sophos\Update Manager\Logs .
