Changing from one license to another?

Sophos gave me a new license to replace a defectively working license business endproduct for  3 computers (perhaps even inactivated in error).  They referred me to technical support to install.  I am unclear whether to uninstall the old license first and "start fresh".  Do not wish my computer to be unprotected and wise computer guy cannot help me for several days.  One system is Linux, one is Windows Vista and one is a Mac.  Thanks for any help, I am at sea.

    Hello nicoletroon,

    can't really speak of the "small" licenses but I think the< all work similar. The "license" is just the download credentials (if we are talking about the EndUser suites) and there's nothing to uninstall. Just enter the new credentials instead of the old (and anyway allegedly defective) ones.
