Windows Home Server

I've just ordered a new PC to run under Windows Home Server 2011.

Will Sophos AV products run on this machine? Will the standalone AV do or will it need a Small Business edition?

    Err...I need it because that PC acts as a Home Server ?! Don't understand your question, it's not that unusual. It's in my basement meanwhile, is a central storage space, backup solution, media server, reachable from anywhere if I want it to be...it has several advantages.

    And, well, it's connected to the Internet, I use VPN tunnels to connect to my work network, I sometimes have to plug USB media from workmates, there are several ways to "catch" malicious software. So do you think it'd be wise not to protect your Server with AV Software?
