Console Dashboard Doesn't Update

In the Enterprise Console, most of the dashboard at the top never updates.  Computers and Updates are the only two sections that actually change.  "Computers with Alerts", "Policies", "Protection" and "Errors" section haven't changed in forever despite the fact that all of the above should have in the last week.  Restarting console, restarting services or box itself does not help.  The "Sophos Web Intelligence Update" service starts then stops when I try to start it.

    the easy one first: The "Sophos Web Intelligence Update" service starts then stops when I try to start it - as its description says its purpose is Reconfigure the Sophos Web Intelligence components. It doesn't sit and wait, instead when it is started it checks what to do, does its job (if there's anything to do at all) and stops. So you should find it stopped most of the time.

    Never heard of a partially "stuck" dashboard, but then ... for quick check select one of the computers with alerts, right click->Resolve Alerts and Errors ...,  (make sure there is no alerts which needs action and that they all can be cleared), press Select All then Acknowledge. You should see a change in Computers with alerts. If not, then we'll have to dig deeper.
