Windows 8 -Endpoint Security not updating

I have insalled Sophos on Windows 8 machine.

While I can browse to the shared drive on my Windows 2008 server, each Sophos goes to update I get the erroe

"unable to acces source"

Any ideas? It is most frustrating!

    Hi,

    What is the path for ConnectionAddress in C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Config\iconn.cfg (If there is a iconnlocal.cfg look in that)?

    I assume it's a UNC path back to the server, what is the full path, is that accessible from the client "as is"?

    If you log onto the client as the account use by AutoUpdate (same config file "UserName=") can that account access the location also?
