New Install Old Logs

Good Day,

We made some changes to our network the other day and I wasn't thinking of what the changes would do to Sophos......until after they were all completed. I am getting numerous issues when I attempt to start it up and since there were some changes I wanted to make anyway I feel a fresh install would work best for me. 

I would like to carry over the Event logs and the Devices that i have exempted from Device Control into the new install. Where would I be able to find these things?

    not sure I understand you correctly. You intend to install a new management server (SEC) but want to keep (Alerts and) Events data as well as (some) settings?

    Events are sent by and associated with an endpoint ("Computer") - doesn't look like it would be possible to keep (or import) just the events. Similarly exemptions are associated with a policy. The problem is not finding the data but "importing" it into a new installation.
