Windows 8 firewall

Hi all!

I have recently upgraded to Endpoint Security and Control for Windows version 10.3.12 on a windows 8 machine.

Unlike ESCW running on windows 7, it does not offer pop-up messages the first time an application is run to add it to the firewall etc. This means that I am having to manually find and add in sophos all applications that require network/ firewall access.

Is there any way to get these helpful pop ups from sophos in windows 8?

Hello citizen, pop-up ... to add it to the firewall AKA interactive mode, no longer available with SCF 3.x, the version that supports Windows 8.1 (see here for the Configuration article) . The  Best Practices article notes the features unavailable on Windows 8.1. Christian :56213
