Sophos definition updates location for Citrix virtual desktops

I see. so it doesn't download everything from start again - when you say everything we are talking about at most a few hundred IDEs (sure, there is some overhead) totalling less than 5MB. A major update (including engine updates) is far larger though and this is what you likely want to avoid. Dunno how you handle Windows and other software updates, likely not using vDisks. Please see Efficient updating of target computers in Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+: incorporating current versions in a disk image, including for use with cloned virtual machines (you might also want to read Best Practice for running Sophos on virtual systems if you haven't already done so).
