Using SEC 5.0 as an update source for SEC 5.1

As the subject says - without testing it myself, is it possible?

The scenario is that we have to get our updates from a third party (no direct access to Sophos servers) and they won't update from 5.0 to 5.1 til August. We're trying to deploy Win7 with UAC... etc etc.

So should I be able to install 5.1 and get updates for Endpoint Sec 10 (Win) and v8 (Mac) from SEC 5.0?
