Uninstallation of Sophos Remote Management System failed [0x00000025]

I am attempting to deploy Sophos 10 to Windows 7 and Windows XP computers via the Enterprise Console 5.0.0.8 All pcs have their firewall turned off and previously had an earlier version of Sophos (9.7) installed. On a significant number of Windows 7 and XP computers I get the error "Uninstallation of Sophos Remote Management System failed [0x00000025]" reported. How do I rectify this other than remoting to each pc and manually uninstalling Sophos?

    This error occurs when I run Protect the computers. Your suggestion to go to the \\server\sophosupdate\cids\s000\savscfxp\rms folder and uninstall the Sophos Remote Management System.msi does work. Subsequently Sophos 10 can be deployed to the pc using the Enterprise Console. However I have over 150 pcs that have this problem. Is there a way to automate this?
