Hi
We have a number of Windows 7 x64 computers that are experiencing application crashes. Its been going from one computer to about 10 a week later. First maybe IE stops working, then Outlook then HP Connection Manager… and so on….
Sophos 10.2 sees nothing except when for example Excel crashes it adds a Suspicious Behavior to the file Excel.exe – HIPS/FileWriteMode-003.
MS Security Essentials finds a Seedabutor.B and removes it. However it comes back later on.
We reinstall the machine with MS Deployment MDT… the behavior comes back. Seedabutor.B comes back and the FileWriteMode-003.
Formatting the disk a few times doesn’’’’t help neither.. a new hard drive seems to be helping tho.
Anyone seen this or/and have any idea??!! I’’’’m stumped.
Sophos Support (case 3704535) haven’’’’t helped much neither… yet.
Regards
Robert
