Client updates need relinking to enterprise console

Hi There

Sorry if this has been posted before, im quite new to the management of Anti-virus and so am learning everything bit by bit as i pick it up.

Ok every summer we rebuild all the machines within our network this is a mix of laptops and desktops. When we rebuild them we deploy Sophos anti-virus to them but it does not link to the console.

At this moment in time the only way i know to re-connect them is to run the protect machines option within the enterprise console but this of course only works in a queue format and so machines can be turned off or laptops can be taken out of our buildings while this is attempting and fail.

Is there a way i can deploy a config to all of the clients that will link them back to the console from the client side?

Also is there a way i can do this for new clients aswell to help speed up our rebuild process?
