Endpoint Security and Control + Server 2012 + Robocopy Freezing

Hi All,

We have a rather strange issue that I cannot seem to isolate.

Basically I have built a fresh Server 2012 server running ESC 10.2 and need to migrate files to it.

I am using a robocopy script that basically mirrors from \\old-server\share$ to \\new-server\share$.

The data starts to copy but after a few minutes the whole system becomes "unresponsive".

To define unresponsive - the UI works (i.e. mouse over buttons will highlight) but I am unable to click anything, run commands in cmd, select anything in task manager. I had task manager open before the script was run so that i could keep an eye on runaway processes and CPU/MEM loads. I was steered toward ESC when it became the only thing listed as "not responding".

I can replicate the problem simply by kicking the script off again and waiting a few minutes.

The issue disappears when I disable on access scanning.

If anyone could help me dig a little deeper that would be great.

I dont want to disable OAS just do a robocopy :P

Thanks in advance
