Cannot Generate SSPI Context

Hi,

After a server - Windows 2008 R2 restart. For some reason, i can't start Enterprise Console for sophos anymore.

I've checked the event viewer and got this error.

Step: Creating a database connection 

Error: std::runtime_error

Data: Cannot generate SSPI context.

I've went to the troubleshooting exercise suggested on http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/66028.html

Everything steps were success until Step 7.4 .  Didn't work.

Tried stop and start up the SQL Server (SOPHOS) and changing the Log On credential - either LocalSystem or Domain\User, both worked

But still i can't start up Enterprise Console.

Help anyone ?

    Provider: "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server"

    Connection tab: Enter the Server and instance name. E.g. [servername]\SOPHOS

    Select: "Use Windows NT Intergrated security".

    Try and choose the Sophos database (Sophos50 for SEC 5 for example) from the drop down

    The test works.

    I read the blog post you mentioned  http://blog.paulgu.com/database/cannot-generate-sspi-context/  It may have some relation to it.  

    I'm still digesting what the blog is saying and trying to go through microsoft's http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811889

    The resolve for this harder then i thought ...  hm...if this takes too long for me to figure out,  would it help if i reinstall Sophos - install Sophos on top of the existing one ?
