Sophos Update on Windows NT and Windows 200 and above

Hi,

I have a problem regarding updates on "windows nt" and windows 2000 and above.

Just recently, there was an error I encountered. 

I have two folders under CIDs, one is ESNT and SAVSCFXP.

My update manager only download ESNT updates and not SAVSCFXP .

and encountered error on Update Manager: 80040401 , 80040404, 80040408.

There is administrative rights on my shared folders for the ESNT folder is being updated.

My only problem is my SAVSCFXP that did not update.

I checked my configuration and on the "Recommendation" both Windows NT and Windows above 2000 are checked,

What can be the problem?

    Hello,

    80040408 indicates that SUM has problems writing to the distribution location. As the "adjacent" ESNT folder does not have problems I'd just delete the SAVSCFXP folder (make sure no CID update is running) and let SUM recreate it. If it fails again I'd search for the more specific error message in the logs.
