Microsoft NAP

Hi Everyone.

I´m trying to know, if the Sophos Endpoint, is compatible with microsoft NAP... (i´ve tried to search on the Sophos Website, but i can´t find any refence to it).

Can anyone knows this?

    That's a bit of a broad question. In what way do you mean compatible? Are you asking whether Sophos can determine whether or not an endpoint is compliant and then report the result to MS NAP? If so I don't believe that is how NAP functions.

    My understanding is that an agent is installed in the endpoint and a health check is perfomed against conditions set in NAP. If the checks are passed the endpoint will receive a health certificate and will be allowed to connect. If the endpoint fails it can be passed to a remediation network where the necessary changes can be affected. Once this is complete a further health check is made and, if passed, a health certificate is issued and network access granted.
