Which defs version with which client version?

Since late April, the Sophos client download is identified only as "Anti-virus 9.7". However, at any give time, there are at least three different definitions zip files available for download. E.g. right now they are called "201107 (4.67)", "201106 (4.66)", and "201105 (4.65)". How are we supposed to determine which definitions zip is needed, which the client download name has not changed since late April, and bears no obvious resemblance to the definitions version numbers?

    Hi,

    I'm suprised you need to manually download the zip files to get the ides.  AutoUpdate should keep you updated either updating directly from Sophos or from a central installation.

    That being said, if you open SAV, and look under "View product information", then expand "Anti-virus and HIPS", the "detection data" field will give you what you need to align the versions.
