Help identifying out of date definition on a machine?

I need a little help identifying whether one of my machines has out of date definitions.

I use GFI LANguard to perform systems scans etc. One of these scans I have made myself, so that it returns a high vulnerability warning if a. No AV software is detected, b. AV out of date, c. On access scanning turned off.

I scanned my network this morning and found a machine that was running the following Sophos version:

Version - 7.3.4
Engine - 2.77.0
Database version - 4.32(209)
Database time - 8/14/2008
Signatures count - 470314

I appreciate the version is well out of date and I now know the machine isn't being managed by the EC now. But is the definitions up to date?

GFI have said the following:

"The general rule is that we allow the virus signatures of the antivirus program to be 48 hours older than the latest antivirus signatures available on the web site of the antivirus vendor. "

I am trying to determine whether there is a bug in the GFI software or if the Sophos version is infact still updating.

Thanks

Mike
