Sophos Puremessage 4.01 for Exchange does not scan Spam on incoming server

Hi

I have two mailbox servers but only one is used for Client Access.  The (back end) mailbox server has the AV only version installed and both servers share a SQL Puremessage database instance.

Spam coming into this CAS is not being recognised.  The Dashboard says zero message volume in SMTP Scanning.

I have added upstream relay IP addresses but it seems from the reporting that the system thinks all messages are internal rather than inbound.

Any ideas as to how I can a) trace what is happening (logging is not good) or b) force it to scan all email?
