End user computers connecting Sophos website constantly

HI,

we use sophos for AV. Some of the computers constantly communicating Sophos website. we do not have web protection enabled and web control is not enabled. all computers are communicating to sophos but some are at very high rate.

can some one help me with this.

Hello krishna,
while Web Protection would consult "the Cloud", Web Control does not. Live Protection (also in the AV policy) is another technology which makes real-time look-ups. Does it cause problems for you or is this a general question?
