Installing across different domains

I would like to install Sophos across different domains, which also reside on different subnets.

My console can see the names of the computers on the domain that the console is not installed on, however I get an error message when I try to protect any of the endpoints. The error message says:

"The specified credentials are invalid"

I am using the DOMAIN\administrator account and have tried on several different endpoints. I am positive I am typing the password correctly. All of the machines are 2003 R2 with no software firewalls.

I am using SEC 5.1 deploying SAV 10 using Windows 2008R2 SP1, the Windows firewall on this server has been disabled for all networks.

Any suggestions?

Hello gr33ny,
this has been asked one or two times in this forum, for example here (please see also Protecting computers in a multiple domain environment).
Basically the account must allow creation of the install task on the target computers (and of course be able to install) but also to "connect back" to the install share (and if this is on the "other domain" it needs appropriate rights).
