Migrate from multiserver site to single server with multiple update

I have a customer who has got 5 diffrent sites with sophos enterprise console 9.5 installed independently on a server at each site.and individual databases.

I would like to change this setup and have one main server with 4 diffrent update managers

this will enable me to only update one server rather than the five and also take advantage of the new updating to the closes server feature cutting down on acidental wan traffic.

can anyone suggest the best way to go about this?

The currently have

Sophos endpoint console               4.5.1.0

Sophos Anti-Virus version               9.5.5 VDL4.69G

I want to upgrade from 4.5 to 4.7 but dont want to upgrade all 4 servers.

    Dan,

    If historical data is not important, then upgrade the main site, uninstall the 4 remote console sites, install child SUMs, and redeploy to the 4 remote sites.

    If historical data is important, and you want to keep all policies, then I suggest contactin Sophos Professional Services for assistance.
