Adding Endpoint version number and last update date/time to BGINFO

Hi,

I'd like to added the current version of SAV and the date/time when it last updated to the information that can be written to the users desktop everytime the PC starts up by using BGINFO from Microsoft (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb897557).

I realise that the last updated info will be that of when the machine was last used, but this will enable our users to see at a glance that it was at least updated last time they used their PC.

BGINFO has the following options for adding custom information -

    Enviroment Variable

    Registry value

    WMI Query

    Version information for a file

    Time stamp for a file

    Contents of a file

or VB script file

Does anyone know how I use one of the above options to display the required info?
