DNS Blocked - Memory Modifed - Sophos Firewall Turn ON.

Hi All,

I am having this issues sudenly with the Sophos Client Firewall, it keep dropping DNS access with memory modifed error in the log if i unselect allow all traffic.

Any clues ?

Hello Ben2012,
which process is blocked (usually it is svchost.exe which does DNS resolution)? While Sophos Client Firewall: 'Memory Modified' reported as the reason for blocking an application suggests unchecking this option is safe under certain circumstances I'd nevertheless try to find out what could be causing this if it's really svchost.exe which gets blocked.
