Hi I am having a problem at the moment with some users, and
after trawling Google there seems to be a common thread, that the antivirus on
access scanning is causing a problem.
Basically when a user opens any kind of MS office 2007 file
they sometimes get an error when trying to save the file it tells them that it’’’’s
read only. I know that this sounds like
a Microsoft error but a lot of people are having the problem and have said that
disabling on access scanning in their anti-virus fixed the problem.
I am unwilling to disable the on access scanning but I was
wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any advice to point me in
the right direction. It is now happening
to a few users. Is there a recommended
configuration for endpoint 10 to be configured a certain way on a file server
and the clients that access said server?
