SQL script to purge disconnected computers

Hello,

Does someone have a short  SQL script to purge disconnected computers from the Sophos Enterprise database.

Since we upgraded tot SEC51 and placed the database on an external SQL server, the purgedb tool  is useless. We used the parameters : PurgeDB.exe -action=delete -category=computers -HistoryLengthInDays=60

  • Hello Jak,

Thank you for your help and information. Mine was somewhat limited. I realise that.

The registry string is the right one. Today I adjusted  the user rights which I use for the purge.

(I use an AD service account)

At this moment, If I run the purgedb_sophos.cmd file manually the computers are deleted.

If I use the Windows scheduled task to run the cmd file, it is not deleting any computers.

    I will troubleshoot this further.

The SQL query ‘‘‘‘s you provided are always handy and nice to have.

    Regards

    Smile.
