Cross domains

Hi,

I have several domains to maintain but in one domain i have installed the Enterprise console with an update manager. In the other domains i want to install also the Sophos clients. This is not possible to push them from the Enteroprise console because when i have to type my domain credentials he said that the credentials not valid is. I think normal behavior because it will install in a other domain. But is there a possibility to install clients and that they will register in our Enterprise Console?

  • Hello John,

this is a two part question (install clients and that they will register).

Install: If you can't create a trust (Protecting Clients in different domains) you can apart from using one of the suggestions in this article also build a custom package.

Updates/management: The clients must be able to locate the server, the CID on the server must be accessible by the clients in the other domains (it's also the prerequisite if you install from the share of course) and communication using ports 8192-8194 must be possible.
