Web Protection Firefox

I recently downloaded trial of Sohpos.  I am running Firefox as a browser and noticed it does not have web protection.  Internet Explorer loaded a plugin and is now protected.  Am I missing something with Firefox?  Using Eset I had web protection on all browsers.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Web scanning as implemented by the BHO does only work with IE but since 9.5 it's not the only feature that protects you from malware hosted on websites. The Layered Service Provider (LSP) that implements the "Web protection" feature essentially hooks IE, Chrome and Firefox; so sites known to host malware will be blocked.  So that in combination with on-access scanning means you are well protected.
