DLP

Hi,

I am having odd experience on endpoint DLP on my pc's when i enabled it even the file was not actually attached to a mail client or a webmail the Data Control events create a event log that the file was attached even my email signature on my email is being logged and blocked.

any idea on the causes of this? appreciate any advice.

    no reason to get agitated :smileytongue: - DLP alone is not much of a description.

    As said above, you offered not many details. At least please tell us:

    • the rules in effect with their details - open the policy in SEC, click on the rule(s) and copy/paste the contents of the Rule description
    • the client programs used (email and browser)
    • the exact alert(s) you get (please copy a relevant part of the Data Control log)
    • last but not least the OS and SESC version
