Enviroment:
Sophos Enterprise Console 4.5.1.0 on Win2k8 R2 server (firewall disabled).
Windows XP Client machines with Firewall enabled
I have synced the sophos console with the Active Directory, and all the computers appear to be listed. However when i try to push out the sophos client, it fails.
I have (via group policy) enabled ports 8192, 8193, 8194 on the clients.
It is ONLY when I turn the firewall OFF on the client machines that the sophos client gets pushed out and remotely installed fine.
This is a problem becuase when new computers are added to the domain i dont want to turn the firewall off for any length of time due to security reasons.
Please advise a working strategy to resolve this.
