Sophos Enterprise Console shows wrong Update-Details

Hi everyone,

since Thuesday the half of my machines where shown as out-of-date in Enterprise Console. But when i look on the clients the number of IDE's is correct and the Clients are up to date.

Now the have 363 IDE's but Enterprise Console claims they have only 351 IDE's.

Using Windows 2008 Server with Enterprise Console 5. The clients run Anti-Virus Version 10.0.8 VDL4.81G.

Checked all logs on the clients and the server, but everything looks fine.

Any suggestions what this issue means?

  • Hello Gorek,

just asked. So the clients do report regularly (Last message time is recent)? I might miss something but IMO "normally" either they report and then it should be with the correct data - in which case they have not updated - or they don't communicate with the console.

Hmmm ... for those not since - they do have a recent Last message time? And what is the VDL version and number of IDEs in SEC? Wonder if the Last message time is increasing when they report up to date and then fall back.
