Sophos Enterprise Console shows wrong Update-Details

Hi everyone,

since Thuesday the half of my machines where shown as out-of-date in Enterprise Console. But when i look on the clients the number of IDE's is correct and the Clients are up to date.

Now the have 363 IDE's but Enterprise Console claims they have only 351 IDE's.

Using Windows 2008 Server with Enterprise Console 5. The clients run Anti-Virus Version 10.0.8 VDL4.81G.

Checked all logs on the clients and the server, but everything looks fine.

Any suggestions what this issue means?

  • Hello Robby,

first thing to check is the Last message time to the right in the Computer Details tab. 351 was the number before noon (UTC) on Tuesday 2nd so the last message time should be before that (but not more than a few hours). As the number on the clients is correct and half of the clients do report it looks like a communication (RMS) problem.

Obvious question - have the clients something in common (other than the incorrect number)? Do you use message relays?
