New install (Mac 10.6), fails to update through primary server

After losing a hard drive on my laptop (Mac OS X 10.6.x), I have been reinstalling all of my applications this evening. This includes downloading and installing Sophos Anti-Virus 7.0.5 provided to me by my employer. This exact version was installed and working well on my machine prior ot the hard drive issue.

After installing, I have attempted to update the virus defintions, but all I get is the "Checking primary server" dialog, followed by the "Coud not contact primary server" diaglog.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Thanks.

Sophos Anti-Virus automatically updates to a new version each month, so you wouldn't have had 7.0.5 on your machine when the hard drive failed.
The current Mac version is 7.3.2 (or maybe 7.3.3 now). You should try installing that version. However 7.0.5 should work on 10.6 so I'm not sure whether that is the root of your problem. (http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2009/08/28/guest-blog-sophos-antivirus-supports-snow-leopard/ )
