Secondary Update Server / Enterpise Console

Hey,

I want to use the function "Secondary Update Server". Does this option offers you the opportunity to update AntiVirus Definitions e.g. when an employee is working in home office?! It means the Client System is not connected to the LAN (with the primary server).

    Hello,

    correct. As your clients should update using your infrastructure it is usually set to a company webserver. In case this is not reasonable (e.g. you have only a handful of employees occasionally working at home and no VPN either) you can set it to Sophos.
