We have had a few workstations with the Sophos NAC client installed where it seems to be causing an error upon logging in. It also logs the following in the Event Viewer:
Faulting application AgentAsst.exe, version 3.5.311.0, faulting module AgentAsst.exe, version 3.5.311.0, fault address 0x00445704.
The error is a standard Windows pop-up error stating: "Sophos Compliance Agent Assistant encountered a problem and needed to close.". The file/service that seems to be causing the problem is AgentAsst.exe.
Has anyone else seen this? It seems to only be happening on a few machines but the only way we've been able to fix it currently is by uninstalled the NAC client.
