Web Protection error (incompatible program)

We're using the Microsoft TMG Client on our workstations and as this table states Sophos Web Protection isn't compatible with the TMG Client: http://www.sophos.com/de-de/support/knowledgebase/116241.aspx

What does this mean?

According to the link above Web Protection will be disabled to avoid any problems, but on our clients it's still active and working (http://www.sophos.com/de-de/support/knowledgebase/111224.aspx).

I also do not want to disable Web Protection as our TMG doesn't do any AV filtering and mobile users would be unprotected.

    Hello WeissIT,

    I'm not sure that I understand you correctly - are you saying that while the TMG Client present you do not get the (expected) error (0xa0580006) and that browsing to sophostest.com displays the 'blocked' page?
