Me I know of windows server 2008 R2 64bit is supported by full disk encryption of sophos console?

from the article it seems that server OSs are not supported. The primary use of disk encryption is to prevent access to the data in case of loss (unlikely with a server unless you've installed a server OS on a laptop), theft (in case a server is stolen from your datacenter you'll likely have a bunch of other problems as well) or access to the equipment (also after it has been decommissioned). Furthermore POA doesn't go too well with a server (which is usually headless).
That's not to say that it is useless or can't be done though. If you really need this functionality you should call Sophos directly.
